CHEROKEE HEAD TO CINCINNATI

(TAKE ON THE THUNDER FOR TWO GAMES)

Toledo OH – The Toledo Cherokee proud members of the NA3HL will return to action this weekend when they travel to Centerville OH to take on the Cincinnati Thunder.

Saturday’s game will start at 7:00PM. On Sunday the puck will drop at 2:30PM

Toledo is coming off a weekend where they were idle and will play its first game in fifteen days.

“This is an important weekend for us, coming out of an off week we need to make sure we are competing at a high level. Points are hard to get in this division so anytime you play you need to make sure you come away from a weekend with as many as possible.” Said head coach Kenny Miller

The Cherokee currently sit in third place in the East division with a record of 3-1-0 good for 6 points. Cincinnati sits in last place in the Midwest division with a record of 1-5-0.

Veteran forward Ricky Kwapich (Toledo OH) leads the Cherokee in points with 14 in 4 games. 18 year old Dexter MI native EJ Gilbert has 8 goals on season so far. Rookie goaltender Adrian Morales (Monroe MI) is 2-0 in his first two starts for Toledo.
