CHEROKEE HEAD TO NEW YORK

(TAKE ON SOUTHERN TIER FOR TWO GAMES)

Toledo OH – The Toledo Cherokee proud members of the NA3HL will return to action this weekend when they travel to Western New York to take on the Southern Tier Xpress.

Friday’s game will start at 7:00PM. On Saturday the puck will also drop at 7:00PM

Toledo is coming off a two week holiday break and will play its first game in twenty days.

“This is an important weekend for us, coming out of the break we need to make sure we are competing at a high level. Points are hard to get in this division so anytime you play you need to make sure you come away from a weekend with as many as possible.” Said head coach Kenny Miller

The Cherokee currently sit in fourth place in the East division with a record of 13-14-0 good for 26 points. Toledo leads the Xpress by two points in the division.

Veteran forward Ricky Kwapich (Toledo OH) leads the Cherokee in points with 39 in 27 games. 18 year old Dexter MI native EJ Gilbert has 18 goals on season so far. Goaltender Adrian Morales (Monroe MI) has four wins for Toledo in net.
