ROMAN MALKOV NAMED EAST DIVISION PLAYER OF THE WEEK 

Yaroslavl, Russia native Roman Malkov had a grand total of 62 saves between his two wins this weekend against the Cincinnati Thunder. Malkov posted a .954 SV% to help the Cherokee in their two wins. “Roman is playing his best hockey. He gives us a chance to win every night and he showed that again this weekend helping us to two wins,” said General Manager and Head Coach Kenny Miller.

The Cherokee travel to Pittsburgh this weekend to take on the Vengeance Saturday and Sunday. Face off for Saturday is at 6:30PM. Sunday the puck will drop at 11:40AM.
