The Cherokee recorded a shutout against the Jets 8-0 in home game

Brian Tallieu posted a shutout, stopping all 21 of the Toledo Cherokee shots throughout the game. The Metro Jets took the lead early in the first on a goal from Jhuwon Davis and never looked back.

George Hansen had a busy night with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Connor Inger delivered for his team with 2 goals.

In the first, Davis opened the scoring for Metro with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 4:41 with helpers from his linemates, Schwartz and Cinato. Hansen quickly followed with a goal at 6:25 with assists from Gierman and Stawinski. Inger quickly followed with a goal at 7:23 with helpers from teammates Momot and Flannery. Millette netted a goal at 10:19 with assists from Laforest and Macaulay.

During the second period, Sawyer put in a goal at 8:06 with helpers from Schwartz and Hansen. Inger deposited a goal at 11:08 with assists from Schwartz and Sawyer. Hansen scored a goal at 14:54 with helpers from Alafriz and Stawinski.

In the third, Bruce netted a goal at 13:02 with assists from his linemates, Millette and Cinato.

This loss brings the Toledo Cherokee’s record to (11-27-1-0).
