The Cherokee recorded a shutout against the Vengeance 3-0 in home game

The Toledo Cherokee's defense had a poor night, allowing the Pittsburgh Vengeance 34 shots throughout the game. The Pittsburgh Vengeance took the lead before the halfway point in the second on a goal from Reid Miller.

In the second period, Miller opened the scoring for Pittsburgh with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 9:36 with helpers from Shepherd and Smith. Unger netted a goal at 17:43 with an assist from his defensive partner, Cummings.

During the third, Casale deposited a goal at 1:04 with helpers from his teammates Glavach and Szurlej.

This loss brings the Toledo Cherokee’s record to (26-23-4-0)
