The Cherokee recorded a shutout against the Vengeance 5-0 in home game

The Toledo Cherokee's defense had a poor night, allowing the Pittsburgh Vengeance 37 shots throughout the game. The Pittsburgh Vengeance took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Justin Shepherd and never looked back.

Dominick Glavach delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Justin Bioni chipped in with 3 points (1 goal, 2 assists).

In the first period, Shepherd opened the scoring for Pittsburgh with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 11:32 with helpers from his linemates, Glavach and Mezsargs.

During the second, Bioni netted a goal at 1:24 with helpers from his teammates Friedman and Soderberg. Glavach deposited a goal at 12:40 with an assist from defenseman Bioni. Soderberg quickly followed with a goal at 13:25 with assists from Bioni and Friedman.

In the third period, Mezsargs put in a goal at 19:24 with helpers from Soderberg and Servidio.
