The Cherokee recorded a shutout against the Vengeance 5-0 in home game

Caden Shell posted a shutout, stopping all 27 of the Toledo Cherokee shots throughout the game. The Pittsburgh Vengeance took the lead early in the first on a goal from Dominick Glavach and never looked back.

Dominick Glavach delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Chris Sturny had a busy night with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first period, Glavach opened the scoring for Pittsburgh with what turned out to be the game winning goal at 0:17.

In the second, Sturny put in a goal at 4:19 with helpers from teammates Glavach and Friedman. Soderberg deposited a goal at 10:23 with helpers from Bioni and Sturny. Glavach scored a goal at 18:32 with assists from Smith and Bioni.

In the third, Johns put in a goal at 2:18 with an assist from defenseman Oslick.

This loss brings the Toledo Cherokee’s record to (12-30-1-0).
