The Cherokee struggled against the Jets 6-1 in home game

The Toledo Cherokee's defense had a poor night, allowing the Metro Jets 31 shots throughout the game. The Metro Jets took the lead before the halfway point in the first on a goal from Connor Inger and never looked back.

Marc Schwartz did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist) and Connor Inger delivered for his team with 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

During the first, Gulawsky opened the scoring for Metro with a goal at 7:54 with a helper from fellow Jets forward Graham. Inger netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 10:53 with helpers from teammates Hansen and Schaumburger. Flannery deposited a goal at 14:01 with assists from Sawyer and Schwartz.

In the second, Schwartz put in a goal at 1:24 with assists from Cinato and Davis. Carter quickly followed with a goal at 2:14 with helpers from Gilbert and Weinrich.

In the third period, Schaumburger answered for Metro with a goal at 11:54 with assists from Flannery and Inger. Davis scored a goal at 17:59 with helpers from his linemates, Stawinski and Schwartz.

This loss brings the Toledo Cherokee’s record to (11-28-1-0).
